The Mulliner division will be celebrating Bentley's 100th Anniversary next year with the release of a Mulsanne special edition. It pays homage to the company's founder father, W.O. Bentley includes a part from one of his automobiles.
The special model can be ordered with a standard Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed or Mulsanne Long Wheelbase. It was inspired by a 1930 8 Litre Bentley owned by W.O. The 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. The influence of the car can be felt throughout the cabin and even a Mulliner illuminated cocktail cabinet that features an opening window that shows an original crankshaft from the 8 Litre display inside.
W.O. is emblazoned in a B-shaped photoetched air vent on the chrome appliqué that runs across the back of the vehicle. The front grille is patterned after 1930s-appropriate Onyx, and there's an additional chrome-colored application on the lower spoilers to the left and right. The front grille is also unique, featuring the chrome-colored shell instead of the standard body-color mesh like that of the regular Mulsanne and featuring the Flying B logo as well.
The key box is engraved with Bentley wings and is fitted with an ebony lining. Key pouches can be purchased to complement or contrast the key box. The set includes a custom 1:18 scale model of the 8 Litre and flying paperweight along with an unpublished brochure with images that have never before been seen of the original 1930s 8 Litre.

"We wanted the knurling's appearance to be as uniform and elegant as we could," says Van Braekel. "It was also important to keep the fob with a distinct size and shape."
